Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed missile attacks across the region in retaliation for a "massive" and continuing offensive targeting the nation by the US and Israel.

Airspace Engagements

In other parts of the Middle East, the UAE, Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to US military bases - stated they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their airspace.

Iran's Declared Retaliation

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said in a statement it was attacking American facilities and interests as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the attack on Iran initiated by the US and Israel on Saturday.

That preceding assault - initiated at around 06:15 GMT - has so far focused on areas linked to the the regime, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the Iranian people to revolt against the regime.

Regional Fallout

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israeli military reported it had identified an incoming Iranian missile barrage.

The Ministry of Defence of the UAE stated that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"Emirati air defenses dealt with the projectiles with notable success and shot down a several projectiles," the statement continued.

The statement noted debris landed in a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some property damage and killing a civilian.

The US Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
